Halloween!

The morning after daddy's birthday, the kitchen was a mess from our "private party."  Mommy was at work and daddy was tired and sleeping.
So, I am cleaning the kitchen.
Wiping the floor.
Cleaning up the mess.
What is the smell, is it my towel?
Towel is good. Is it daddy's shoe?

Kitchen is all clean now.  Time to prepare for Halloween.  Mommy had a class, so daddy and I sat outside and gave out candy. A lot of candy.
Daddy got his chair ready and bag full of candy.  He came up with an idea to use an ace wrap for my costume.

I am an accident victim of Utah driving.  Daddy says, Utah drivers are pretty bad.  But then, he says that about Hawaii too.
I am all wrapped up and warm.  And eating candy.

This chocolatey one is pretty good.
I had a lot time outside, and not too many kids were coming.  I had to get creative to entertain myself.

Playing in the leaves and still keeping hydrated.

It is getting dark and cold.  I better clean up.

Yep, time to get inside.

We gave out most of our candy and gave what was left to mommy to take to work.  She gets lots of visitors in her office.

My first halloween - first one I remember anyways.  I am told I was a pumpkin last year.  The picture is here somewhere.  I sure am glad I wasn't one this year.  And I am glad that daddy couldn't find a big enough pumpkin to put me in.

Daddy's BIRTHDAY

On the 30th day of October, I thought it was just like any other day.
I got up, had my breakfast.

Played with daddy.

Had lunch and dinner.
Then, mommy came home and finally, I found out it was daddy's birthday! So, I had get a picture with daddy.

Mommy dropped the ball on this one. Didn't warn me the night before - so there was no cake, no party, and not even slobbery kisses for daddy when he got up. I got to put it on my calendar for next year.
Otherwise, I am getting bigger, having fun and playing with the neighbor dog.  He likes to come greet me and lick my hands.
I found a plastic stick and wanted him to smell it.
But, he thought it was a bone.  He took it with him. Oops.

H will bring it back, won't he?

Mommy's Offical Photos and mine too!

The Air Force is really good. They took our official pictures yesterday and we got them today! Even Daddy is not that quick.

I will try to explain what is going or I will just make it up. Whatever works right.

Here we are. Our Official Air Force family picture.

Here is my official picture with Grandma Shelly, she is one of my many Utah Grandmas.

Here are the three new 1LTs. Funny they are lined up in alphabetical order, but at first I thought it was by height.

Here is Daddy trying to administer the oath of office. Since he is old and can't remember stuff, they put it on a board for him.

Here they are saluting....

I think Daddy got in trouble for something?

Here is Daddy and one of Mommy's bosses pinning on her new silver bars.

Here is grandma Shelly and me again. I was quiet, but not that interested in what was going on in the front of the room.

It is over now.

My favorite picture, the Cake! The frosting was so very yummy.

So Mommy is now offically a 1LT in the United States Air Force. In two more years her and Daddy will be the same rank. Unless Daddy gets promoted. I bet my Mommy will catch up and pass him soon!! She is really smart and wins out in the looks category too. Sorry Daddy, just being honest!

The Unofficial Pictures of Mommy's Promotion

Today Mommy got promoted to First Lieutenant (1LT) and Daddy administered the oath. So both Mommy and Daddy got dressed up. Funny thing is Daddy's uniform was green and everyone else's was blue. Guess he did not get the memorandum. Still he looked good, but not as good as mommy. The pictures that we are posting now cover before and after the ceremony. Mommy will get the official pictures and then, we will post those. Honestly, they just would not trust me with the camera.

Here is the three of us.

Here we are again. Can you tell the difference.

Here is the last unofficial picture of my Mommy as a Second Lieutenant. She is moving up!

Here is Mommy with her friends. See, all blue. Tyler, Mommy and Kaleb. They graduated Officer Training School at the same time and now they are all three 1 LTs.

That is me with a F-16 model. My Mommy keeps those flying and armed. What does your Mommy do?

Since Daddy did not have on the right color uniform, the Colonel made Daddy vacuum the room.

So we will post the Official Official pictures once we get them, but I wanted everyone to see my Mommy!

Three pumpkins on the porch!

As you know we planted a garden this year. Well, one of our crops was pumpkins. I asked when we planted them "What do you do with them?" Now I know. You carve them and put them on your porch! I have seen them all over, but now I know! Funny, only three pumpkins came up. As you know, there are three of us. What are the odds, but if you think about it, we only needed three.

From Left to Right: Me, Mommy and Daddy.

Me checking us out. I think I was supposed to be the big one.

Posing with the pumpkins.

OK....Now we lite candles in them. Guess we will cook them and eat them too.

I can see the candles, look like really bright eyes, nose and mouth.

The three of us again. Yes, I know it is not us, but if you close your eyes and look at them you can see us!

Wonder how many of them we will grow next year?

Halloween is close and I got a pumpkin!

Halloween is a lot of fun this year! Well first off I am a lot bigger and the pumpkins are smaller than me! Ha Ha, no picture of me stuffed in a pumpkin!
The pumpkin I picked today is just the right size for me! It is like a ball but does not bounce.

It rolls really good.

Man this thing is heavy.

It is not easy to hold on too.

Dropped it again.

Daddy put a face on my pumpkin. Since it is halloween I bet there is candy in it!

I wonder whose face he put on it....

Let me see if there is candy in it. It is halloween, there is always candy on Halloween.

Nope, no candy!

Let me look again!

The inside is slippery.

Well at least I got to play with the pumpkin this year!

Only one more week to Halloween and candy! I get to eat some this year!
