I got a train from Aunt Coleen!!!!!!!!

If you follow the blog, you will know that Aunt Coleen exposed me to trains. I have, of course, caught the bug and she is doing nothing to keep it under control. She sent me a train all the way from Georgia. And I could not be happier about it.
Here I am jumping for joy!
Here I am studying the train while it moves.
A closer look.
Here I am asking daddy to check the box for more tracks. The one at Aunt Coleen's house had miles and miles of tracks.
Seems it should go some where...
Should I touch it, Daddy says "No," but what would Aunt Coleen say. Hmmmm. "Let that baby touch the train." Yep, going to touch it.
I got it!
Now how do you get it on the track again!
Thank you Aunt Coleen. My Daddy is enjoying putting the track together every five minutes. It is fun to see how quickly he can do it. All I have to do is scream train, train, train!!! A few minutes.
Bye for now, see you guys again soon.

We traded Mommy....

On the 14th of July was Ruby's Mommy's birthday.  So I traded my Mommy to her Mommy, so Ruby could come over for a visit and my Mommy could go and do a spa thing or something with some other Mommas.  It was nice seeing Ruby again and Chelsea and their Daddy too.
We ordered pizza.
Then we went out and I introduced them to Taz and we fed him.
Chelsea was a rookie at it. I showed her I still had all my fingers.
Ruby fed him too.
Daddy trying to get me to take a picture next to his sun flower. It is a weed, of course it grows faster than me.
Chelsea fed Taz again and still has all her fingers.
We played in the sand box.
Then I showed Ruby my garden. She was impressed.
Then I showed her my trucks, again.
Daddy gave us all frozen treats.
Ruby wanted to dig a hole, but Daddy said, "No." She did not take it well.
Here I am showing Chelsea my new Grover magnets.
It would seem my Mommy had fun while she was out and I had fun while Ruby, Chelsea and their Dad were here. It was a win win situation and I hope we can do it again soon.

23 months and got to see Elmo too!!!!

The 14th of July 2012, I turned 23. So I got to go to a special USO presentation of Sesame Street. It was free to brats. Well later I learned it was military brats. Hmmmm. When I join, I will work to change that name, I am not a brat, just ask my Dad.
The ceiling!
Here is the Commander of the 75th something at Hill. She is the one who invited Elmo for me.
Me and my new free toy!
That is the guy I came to see. ELMO!
My toy is so cool.... It was free!
Daddy had to play Army, so only Mommy and me got to go.
Elmo explaining to everyone that I am his best friend!
Got a front row seat, because I know Elmo.
Grover and Cookie Monster want to friend me on facebook.
Here I am telling Grover to talk to Elmo.
Here is Elmo coming over to talk to me.
Well right after this the camera died. So I do not have pictures of Elmo putting me up on his shoulders or the after show party. Those darn batteries died. Hard to believe is it not?
Any way, I am now 23 and I got to see my buddy Elmo!

Free food day at Hill...

I do not remember why, but it was free food day at Hill Air Force Base. So Mommy, Daddy and me all went to have some free food!  Why not, it is food and free, isn't that the most essential part of the food groups?
On our way out of the parking lot.
We get to walk between the flags because we are special.
My plate or was it? Hey it is free....
They even let the dogs come and eat for free.
Me being swallowed whole by a dragon.
Bounce, Bounce, Bounce
Peak-a-boo I can see you.
Bounce, Bounce and fall down.
Another dog is here for the food.
At least I tried... Next year I will make it.
Me and spark the fire dog. He came for free food too.
I volunteered to drive the ambulance. I have seen Daddy drive, so I am trained.
They moved me to the back.
Now, I am handing out soda to the troops.
Union breaks come with ice cream sandwiches.
Mmmmmm Strawberry short cake.
One of Mommy's bosses and Mommy and me just hanging out and discussing work.
Free food day was really cool and we enjoyed it.  Daddy did not even have to cook when we got home. Guess that is why he likes the free food so much.

An early harvest

It was time to do a check on some of our veggies. So we went outside to see what we could find. We have a lot of veggies. We had already harvested the peas, but that was because they, the peas, not me, crushed the strings holding them and fell down. We have been eating a lot of peas and have planted new ones.
Here I am reaching for a carrot.
I got it...
Me and Daddy with the carrots.
Pulling up potatoes. The carrots were better....
What am I looking for again? You can see the red onions, some are doing good and others not so...
Still digging....
This is hard work, I need a break.
Me taking a break with some small red onions.
A bucket of harvest. Ha ha... now Daddy has to clean and cook it.

We have started eating our veggies. Well, we always eat our veggies, but the ones we are eating now come from our garden. So they are really fresh.
