My friend Amir and I hung out

Since I am not in school, due to the holidays (Yeah Christmas!!), we have to fill our days doing something. I have a lot of friends in school so Daddy arranges play dates. So far I have has a play date with Amir, Elijah and Devin. Today we had our second play date with Amir. It was a lot of fun! We went to the Armament Museum and a place that was a total surprise!

Amir and I on the CH-53.

Here we are looking at the tail gun on the B-17. Twin 50's so cool.

Here we are posing with the B-52.

Here we are at the wishing well making a donation to the museum.

My F-15 Trainer... it is all mine!

Who knew the A-10 was capable of two pilots!

So the surprise was Daddy took us to Wild Willey's.... how cool. I got to play games with Amir. I usually have to play with Daddy, so having some one who understands the games was just cool!

Here we are fighting dinosaurs. How cool is that?

You can see us through the glass looking for targets.

Then we did the 3D movie ride.

We raced each other on motor cycles.

Yep, we got hungry. Have to refuel.

We got to go fishing too....

Then we fought pirates...

This is a tough game, but we won!

Got in some hunting.

Like you have never missed before?

Anyway it was a awesome play date. It was sort of like a Christmas present since I was surprised. I did not see it coming until we got close. And going with my friend was just the icing on the ginger bread house. Anyway, only one more day until Christmas. So can anyone guess what the next blog post will be about? Until then, Merry Christmas to all and I hope you have a good night!

It is almost Christmas.....

Christmas is only three days away and we are very much so looking forward to it. Sadly, in Florida it is not feeling like Christmas. It is raining, not snowing and the temperature is not cold, but warm averaging mid 70s in the day and a low in the mid 60s at night. Such is life in the Florida. We are keeping ourselves busy and hoping to hear from everyone. We hope you, your families and friends all of you have a very Merry Christmas.

A surprise gift basket from a family in our ward. They made one for each family that had a family member deployed overseas during the Holidays.

Lots of goodies to eat and exercise off in the new year!

Christmas Art to send Mommy.

Lots of dough for holiday gifts.

Bread is a traditional gift.

Signing a poster for the troops at the Niceville Christmas lights. Notice I am wearing a jacket. One of the last cool nights before the Christmas heat wave.

That is an Army train passing by... tanks and all.

They have lots of trains on display of the Christmas place.

The bigger trains are really cool.

It is for sure a Merry Christmas here....

Look I am one of the nuts.

Me taking another picture.... I am so thrilled.

Keeping Santa's chair warm during his break.

Hey look, Santa came back.

Again we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are looking forward to the New Year and all the surprises it will bring. Lots of changes coming in the New Year!

Late Thanksgiving Pictures from Chimge

Chimge shared a few pictures of here living area and the Thanksgiving display they had for the troops during the Holiday. I do remember they make a real effort during the Holidays. Of course nothing can substitute for family and friend, except your family and friends who are sharing the same deployment!

Chimge humble bunk with her bear. The bear is also on his second tour....

That is Chimge's Christmas tree!

A great dessert!

Now that is a cake....

Food art....

Someone had some extra free time.

Is it a Florida Gator?

Chimge does mention she eats a lot of fruit....

Watermelon art...

The Christmas Spirit alive and well...
That is very creative and festive.

Chef Irvin visiting the troops with the USO. (Left to Right) Some guy, Chimge and the people she works with.

Anyway, I can only post the pictures she sends.... So e-mail her and tell her to get into some of the shots.

More of what is going on

December is progressing and Christmas is almost here. Which as you can imagine, like most 5 year olds I am trying to be really good. Which works sometimes, other times, guess I have to try harder. Since my last post, here is what has been going on.

Got my class picture back! How cool is that?

As you can imagine, I baked some bread.

Now that is a lot of dough.

We all know this in not really Santa, but I just played along. I do not want to hurt the guys feelings. And I got a Candy Cane.

Got to sit in a fire truck and make a donation to help other kids.

I would of donated either way, but the fire truck was way cool.

Daddy put me to work.

Daddy and his projects...

He even extended the thing to connect with the other side.

The set up before I showed Daddy How to make a house out of candy and gram crackers.

Me and Daddy!

Me and Daddy with the finished product.

The three ginger marsh mellow people are Mommy (Middle), Daddy (Right) and Me (Left). We are celebrating Mommy's return from Afghanistan. It was a practice... we will get it right when she comes home.

My classmate Amir, he came over and we play Army.

Then we made a large mess, before settling on Legos.

Anyway, I am waiting on Christmas morning to see what Santa brings. That said, try to remember what Christmas is really about and share with other and visit friends and family. Merry almost Christmas and Happy New Year!
