Our vacation in Georgia

I was out of school from 21 Nov to 29 Nov, so me and Daddy took a trip to see my cousins in Georgia. I always enjoy going there, because I have a lot of cousins there. Which means I have lots of people to play with....

We started off our visit at the Future Sight of the National Armor Museum. They have not built it yet, but the Armor is there....

Then we visited the National Infantry Museum. Daddy had me stand with the 95th Infantry Division Monument.

Of course I went to see if I measured up for early enlistment. I was still to small.

But, I was ahead of the other recruit. Only 12 more years and I can enlist.

It was Daddy's idea to eat the donuts, but I am not complaining.

Then I went mountain climbing with my cousins.

The Cousins on the valley floor.

My leading the cousins through a narrow pass.

A photo opportunity.

Our best Lewis and Clark....

We found and old, old, old truck, but we could not get it started.

The cousins, left to right: Christopher, Zachary, Jacob, Jonathan and Drake at the canyon rim.

I got Grandma Doris a Christmas Tree, Daddy said she really loved the holidays.

We got Flowers for Grandpa and Grandma Collins too.

All the cousins went bowling! Aunt Stacy on the left beat Daddy twice! Actually she beat us all.

Thanksgiving Dinner.

Our Thanksgiving fire... Kept us warm.

Hanging with my other cousin Evan.

My new puppy. Not!

One more cousin, this is Collyer.
And my last doughnut in Georgia. It was a snow man.

Well it was a great visit. Aunt Coleen and Grandpa Ed put is up and took care of us.... Thank you for letting us visit and it was great seeing everyone!

A travel update

If you follow the blog, you now know Chimge is in Afghanistan. She has sent us a few pictures so I am sharing them with you.

This is the Multi-National Memorial in the UAE. Taken while she was crossing the globe. It is just one of three countries she stopped in along the way!

Our first picture of Chimge in Afghanistan. She had someone snap a picture so we could see she was alive and well.

Just an interesting picture to show our troops are getting in the Holiday spirit. Needless to say, trees are in short supply, but our service members are know for being able to adapt and overcome.

So she is doing well. She had a good mean and is settling in to her new temporary home. As we get updates, we will try to keep you in the loop with her comings and goings.

A short trip, followed by a really long trip....

It is now the middle of November. Fall is in full swing all over, expect on the coast. Seems it will be a warm winter this year.
Mommy and Daddy took a trip to Biloxi Mississippi and left me home with some friends. So they owe me a vacation. I guess every now and then I have to let them out of the house with out me. It worked out, I did get to ride the School Bus to and from school. It was so cool.

Mommy and Daddy at Beauvoir. That is in Mississippi and it is a old place.

After Mommy and Daddy's vacation they came home and Mommy got to work! We had the weekend together and she slowly packed.

Mommy pack her mission essential equipment. One bear, brown with our voices in the hands.

Me and Mommy having breakfast.

Then of course, Daddy insisted we take the traditional pictures.

Here is a blast from the past. Me and Mommy last time she left. I think I am a lot bigger now. This was taken in July of 2013.

A little regression. I am a lot bigger this time.

Mommy dropping me off at school.  That is my work area.

Mommy with her crew from the PEG. What ever that is....

Mommy and Daddy.

After that Mommy went through security and off to Afghanistan. She will be back in a few hundred days. So keep Mommy in your prayers.

The other half of October and the first week of November....

Like the first half of October, the second half went by fast. It is always crazy when it is just the two of us! But, that is life and me and Daddy like to stay busy.

Mommy came home from her trip to New Jersey, 17 Oct 15. It was great to have here home.

See how happy were are....

We went to Chili's for dinner! To Celebrate Mommy's 12 hour visit.

Then the next morning Mommy went to Ohio for three weeks.

Daddy and I made some bread.

Played crazy games....

At school, we had a Halloween Parade. I was Iron man!

Me in my Classroom.

My Class. Everyone dressed up!

When I am good I get to have crazy fun!

More fun...

Some really crazy fun!

My prize.... I won it.

Trick or treating....

The sugars of my labor.

My New robe... I look so cool!

Mommy came home again, 6 Nov 15! Yeah, but kind of late at night. We learned when Daddy says Cheese, just smile he is taking the picture even if we protest!

And today.... 7 November, Daddy and I cleaned the Memorial at Eglin AFB, so it would have new flags and look nice on Veterans Day!

That should bring you up today. Never fear we will have more updates as the Holidays draw closer. We are all planning on traveling some where, we just do not know where yet?
