Olive Garden Saturday

Since it was a Saturday and I was a good baby and of course, mommy and daddy had a gift card for Olive Garden from grandma and grandpa Young - we had an early dinner there.

It is my dinner time too - they had a server bringing their meal to them - but I had to feed myself and entertain them in the process - it is tough to be me!

Back at home - I am hanging out next to the flower bouquet daddy and I got for mommy.

Snow DAY!!!

It snowed this morning - finally!!!

It is snowing! 

And more! The snow was wet and heavy.

It covered the streets rather quickly. 

So, I am having a snow day! Well, I could have a snow day every day since I don't have school!  Hmm.. does that mean I could make it a snow day even if it is 100F degrees outside?  

So, I stayed home and played with Mr. Moose.  

Mr. Moose has a little pink tongue for that big head.

Wonder if it will snow some more tomorrow - can't wait to get to play in the snow!

Ruby came over!

Today was a good day - Ruby came over with her family and I got to chat with someone who understands my language! :-)

Well, first let me post this picture - daddy holding me up - he is doing his arm exercise and me having fun!  We play like this a lot during the day.  

Back to today: this morning we got up and mommy and daddy enjoyed nice breakfast of blackberry pancake. After hanging out with me a while, mommy went to gym and daddy took me on a short drive to Krispy Kreme's - for his morning dessert.

Then, while I played with mommy, daddy cleaned the house - because my friend Ruby was coming over with her family.  Daddy got bunch of PF Chang meals for all to enjoy.

Ruby's mom and dad and her sister Chelsea - Ruby and I were on the floor: well, Ruby in her car seat and me in my bouncer. I guess daddy forgot to snap our picture together.  

Here I am - after dinner: showing off my skills of "butt" crawling. I wasn't as fast as I usually am - since I was wearing pants that couldn't be held on - and I sure wasn't losing my pants in front of everyone! 

See, now you got it, Ruby?  Come over again if you have questions and I would be happy to demonstrate - and I will make sure to wear my onesie - so I will be much faster. 

Brad and Chelsea.  Chelsea enjoyed playing with some of my toys - I am not old enough to push the buttons and read books - not yet - so I let her enjoy playing with them.

Well, since I now know how to check the blog, I have been looking at it - but all I see is counter numbers going up , , ,

and . . .  no comments.

But hey, I know people look at what I am up to and I do have to say I do look dashing in my photos.  See, I am looking at my pic on a saddle - don't I look cute? I just wish somebody else would say that too.  

I learned a new trick in my little tub - I can turn my head around and get under water - and still keep my eyes open.  I even tasted the water - mommy, of course, told me not to drink the bath water. Still, I am learning cool stuff and can't wait to get into a bigger tub.

Trip to Park City

Today, mommy and daddy took me out to Park City - I met and visited with more Utah grandparents - the Cooks.  They served their mission in Mongolia and were the first mission president of Mongolia Ulaanbaatar Mission.  Needless to say, they like Mongolians.  Auntie Monica (Munkhtsetseg) was their translator - so of course, we picked her up on the way up the mountain.

Look at how much snow there is in Park City and no bad air! But, I thought this was a big ice cream cone - so daddy took a picture for me.

I am checking out the bucket - heard it was a honey bucket but there was none in there.

Grandma Mary and mommy were talking while watching me play with my toes.  What can I say, I like to play with them. (Since I know quite few Cooks, I will call my park city grandparents as: gradnma Mary and grandpa Richard.)

Here is me with Grandpa Richard - he is the first person I have met that has less hair than me - I thought, then . . .  

. . . here he has a lot of hair!  Couldn't figure out how he changed his hair so quickly!

Finally a group picture!

Hmm - this picture got out of order - but since I am only 5 months old and it is late and I am tired - don't blame me.  Grandma Mary is so gentle and she didn't even mind me spitting up and drooling all over her.  True grandma material, I tell you.

They brought home a saddle from Mongolia - so of course, they figured I would want to sit on it since I am half Mongolian. So, here I am all on my own!!!  Auntie was ready to have a heart attack though - she didn't think I could hold myself up.

Another shot - so you can see the saddle a bit better and of course, see me sitting there holding myself up much better.

Besides taking a bunch of pictures, everybody enjoyed nice dinner - but they just put me on a high chair and let me play with some toys.  I heard, though, I will be getting some real food in a month or so.  Can't wait. 

Happy Five-month Birthday Mr. C!

Well, it has been a while since I was able to get some time on the laptop - mommy and daddy keep the laptop fairly occupied with their calorie count, e-mail, facebook, and whatever else they do.

Finally, I got the laptop to myself for a few minutes. So, let me hurry and tell you what I have been up to lately - not a whole a lot really - but I still got some pictures to show.

It has been cold and snowing and slushy - overall just not pleasant - so daddy and I have been spending a lot of time at home.

Here I am at my usual spot watching daddy cooking or cleaning.  But, I just warned daddy today that I might be getting bit too big for the bouncer.  Wonder what they will try to buckle me in next . . .

Mommy's car needed an inspection done, so daddy made an appointment on base to get that done - and we found out, two of the tires were worn out and needed to be replaced to pass the inspection.  So, we got tires and the inspection is done.

Here I am testing out the tires - not quite thumbs up - so what finger shall I point up? 

After testing it, I found out they are actually quite comfortable.  So, mommy's ride will be more comfortable.

Of course, it takes a while for them to change the tires, inspect the car and complete the paperwork - so I needed a bottle.  But, when I needed to get changed, the tire changing guys were absolutely no help.

What a way to spend my five month birthday.  But, daddy and I are happy that mom will have a safer car with new tires.

Monday is a holiday so for the three day weekend, we might do something fun, who knows; just watch out for new posts - hopefully soon!

Mr. Christopher's latest photos

Since, we got back from our road trip, daddy had been busy with me and mommy had been busy working - so I had to put my foot down to get some pictures of me posted. The service around here is just going down hill.  Text me if you know the secret of training your parents.  

On New Year's day - I am hanging out in my cool GAP outfit.  

Did some crawling and push ups. My new year's resolution!  

Since I was working out, mommy decided she needed to exercise too - so she went out to shovel snow from our driveway and walkway in the front.  And, crazy enough she was drying her hair at the same time. 

Daddy bundled me up and we went out to see her - but it was just way too bright!  So, I wanted in. 

Back on my head chef chair - making sure the dinner is getting ready on time so I can get fed on time. 

I figured out I can actually get control of the cup daddy used to pour water over my head - I even tried drinking from it - mommy said it was gross. But, still, I learned something new. Well, here I am looking at the water - and trying to figure out how to pour it over daddy's head - but he was just out of my reach. 

Christmas presents for me: clothes from auntie Zola in Hawaii, and the deer (hand puppet toy) was from aunt Doreen in North Carolina.  Since our mail was on hold I got them on Monday after we got home. 

Mommy has been really busy the whole week and finally today, she got home before sun went down, and we made it to my Utah Grandma Cook's house. 

I sure like visiting her - of course, I get to calm down and enjoy being in her arms knowing she is pro at raising kids. And she had presents for my parents too: homemade bread and jam.  They will, I am sure, enjoy them soon.  I will just have to come visit her after I get teeth and can eat bread and jam and other goodies.
