Welcome to Florida

They call Florida the Sunshine State, because the Hot and Humid State would not go well for tourism. This is what happens when you take the Camera out of the car. The humidity just gets it.

Daddy, me and Mommy.

Two seconds later.... no you do not need glasses. Well maybe, but not, because you can not see us.

Auntie Nomin and me.

Anyway, we are safely back in the hot humid state. It is another hot humid and rainy day, but at least the winters are warm and the beach is close.

What else would I do in Columbus?

Needless to say one of my favorite things to do in Columbus is play with the trains. I built me a mega track and kept Thomas and his buddies moving.
Playing trains takes real concentration.
Really a picture, I am concentrating.
Now I am ignoring.
Here is a cute shot of me, which I objected to being put in, but was over ruled. It is the kiddie bed in the guest room, so guess which kiddie slept there.

Lake Oliver and my first fishing trip

This weekend, we went to Columbus for a family gathering. While we were there I asked Grandpa Ed to take me fishing. Of course he did and I even caught a fish. We went to Lake Oliver, which is on the Chattahoochee River, it is sandwiched between two Dams. Grandpa Ed has a really cool boat and I even got to drive it!

Here we are on the boat, only two out of four heard cheese.
That is the dam in the distance. So much rain it is running over the top.
Me and Daddy on log watch.
Finally fishing.
Me and auntie got a prime spot off the back of the boat.
Me driving. Look Mommy, only one hand.
Just before my first catch.
I am now a pro-brim wrangler.
My second catch. It is actually really big, just looks small, because I am a big kid.

We had a great time on the water. Next time I am sure I will catch something this big!

A trip to the oceanairum with Daddy and Auntie

There are days when I like wake up and want to see something. So that is all I talk about all day and this time it seemed to work. I wanted to see a shark and I got too!
That is my first shark sighting in Florida.
I want to see the shark eat a fish!!!
Auntie and me looking at sea horses.
Me leading the way!
Another big shark!
A dolphin.
Me and auntie looking at the dolphins.
Sting rays playing chase.
Me and Daddy out on a pier at the Army MWR facility.

Wonder what I will wake up wanting to see tomorrow! Hmmmm, maybe the moon!

Auntie Nomin's Birthday

I know these pictures are late and out of order, but hey. At least we are posting something finally. That is what happens when the computer crashes. Not fun.... But, still Auntie's birthday was fun and we got her an ice cream cake!  How is that for cool. Get it, ice cream is cool...any way.
Auntie in shock that she is getting old. Like 32 or something.

She is not too old to blow out the candles.
I agree to take the picture so I could be closer to the cake!!!! Yummy....

FYI, my birthday is coming up and I want an ice cream cake too!

Mr. Christopher and his Mommy

The other day mommy had to get all dressed up to assist at a Retirement Ceremony for a fellow Officer. Since it was at the Armament Museum, which is one of my favorite places to visit, we showed up so we could get a couple of good pictures of mommy.

A professional shot taken by the official photographer.

Mommy does not have to get to dressed up that often, so why not get a few pictures. After all she looks good in uniform and we are proud of her.

We finally got our picture and a new computer

As always, sorry for the delay in posting. We had a computer failure and have been rather busy. Got a new computer and had to figure out how to use it.

So in the next couple of days I will be working on updating.

The picture below is our formal picture from the 350th CACOM, Army Birthday Ball.

Chimge is in the United States Air Force, "Officer Mess Dress" and I am in my Army Service Uniform.

So stay tuned and we will see what we can find to post!
