Just another day in my life.

As you already know, we have a garden. So each day, at least Monday-Friday, we go out to the garden and pick vegetables. It is just something we do. It works out pretty good, because for all my effort, I get to eat and I have no doubt they are fresh. I usually start in the rocks. Why? I do not really have a reason, it just happens.
Here I am in the rocks with the corn that did not turn out too good behind me.

Here I am offering daddy a rock. He never puts them in his mouth. Wonder if there is something to that?

The carrots. I love digging them up.

Once I get them out I line them up so daddy does not lose count.

It was sunny, I hid under the sun flowers.

Daddy caught me trying to eat dirt again.

Look I am in a movie "Children of the Corn"!

Back working the potatoes. I really love potatoes and daddy keeps coming up with new ways to cook them.

One of my jobs is to wash the dirt off. When they are this fresh, you have to wash the dirt off. It is much easier to clean them outside, we learned that the hard way.

My favorite part of the day! Mommy is home! Daddy says I sound like a monkey I get so excited.

Now my day is complete. We are all home from work.

Just a picture of my smiling face, just in case you forgot what I looked like.

Like I said, just another day in my life. Just thought I would add a few more pictures. Yes, dinner was good. Daddy made some beef, baked the potatoes and made a nice vegetable dish with the corn, carrots and tomatoes. Gosh he is creative. He is like Bubba Gump, he fries potatoes, mashes potatoes, grills potatoes, cooks them with this and that. How ever he cooks them, they are fresh and good!

Me and Lenny the Lamb

I have a little Lamb named Lenny - soft little toy I got long time ago.  I have a picture with him when I was quite small (find it in last year's blog)
Lenny used to be almost as tall as me - but now I am much taller and I can walk around carrying him.

Since we have been walking around a lot, I am checking if his feet needs to be cleaned.

I am having breakfast with Lenny.

He doesn't eat but he likes to hang out with me in the kitchen.

I am Walking!

It only took me THIRTEEN months - but I am walking now!
Here I am walking - not a good picture of me since I am concentrating on my steps and not on looking at the camera and smiling.
I figured, I better stop and smile so I will have a decent picture of me.

A few days later, getting much better at this walking business - doing laps around the island.

Looking for a fork to taste the cake.

Oh well, no fork to be found.  So, I better go play with my truck.

Mommy and daddy keep calling me back and forth and I have been walking around the play room a lot!  They just seem to have hard time believing I can actually walk.

All the walking got me tired.  Time for little break.

I am almost walking, but right now it is more like being a stunt man.

I am almost 13 months old and I am learning to walk. It is not as easy as it looks. So right now I am learning how to fall without hurting myself. Mommy and Daddy really seem to be enjoying the whole process. They clap everytime I walk across the room and laugh when I bite it. It will not be long and I will be running. Ok, walking fast. Then I will not have to rely on them to carry me around!

I made it half way across the room.

I am glad we got new carpet with really soft pad!

I am down again.

and again!

One more time.

I do not know which is funnier. Me failing or watching the look on Daddy's face when he tries to get my picture walking and I just fall just before he snaps and all he gets is me falling. One of these days I will let him in on the secret! Until then, I will just have fun watching him try to take my picture.

Farmer Christopher

Just wanted to update you on my farming job. I am continuing to earn my keep by pulling carrots and potatoes and plucking corn and picking tomatoes. I am busy, but they sure are good! Living off the land is tough, but gets me back to my Mongolian roots. Next year I will have sheep.

Dinner. Well that is what it looks like after it is washed. Wish it came out of the ground like that.

Here I am digging carrots. Did I mention I found another pumpkin? Halloween is going to be fun. Thank goodness I am too big to be put inside of one this year!

Daddy likes to do quality control checks.

I really have to dig for the potatoes. Of course I like digging, so it is cool.

They are not uniformed, but it is ok. They all taste the same.

I really like farming. It is a lot of fun. I will keep this up until it gets cold. Then I will build snow men!

Idaho or Bust!

Mommy had a three day weekend for Labor Day, so I took her and Daddy for a trip to Idaho. Since they were not busy, I figured they could use some time away from Utah.
I know, I know, I am the greatest kid ever. Yes, I already know!

We took auntie Carissa, a friend of ours from Hawaii, who lives in Utah, with us, because we were going to visit her sister in Idaho, who Mommy knows from her blog! Confused? ... I was too!
We went to Pocatello, Idaho and visited with people who we follow on their blog and made some new friends. A lot of new friends, like 10 of them and soon there will be 11. It was a good time and lots of fun! I even got a gift while I was there!

I will say, that something was wrong with Dad! He was not himself with his camera, the pictures I have to choose from are lacking. Normally, he takes hundreds of pics, but that was not the case this trip.

The sign says Idaho, but he snapped too early!

As you can see, I am now facing forward. I was checking google maps to make sure we did not get lost.

We arrived in Idaho and I got to meet Lea & Anna, Lea is the youngest of 8, almost 9.

We are discussing baby stuff.

She had something in her teeth. I learned later it was a cold. I caught it! As Daddy says, it is the gift that keeps on giving. I gave it to Daddy and Mommy!

I did not have a walker, so I used the stool!

Back at the hotel! I just was not into the pack and play!

Just texting with some friends.

While Mommy was studying, Daddy found a park with a War Memorial. It was in American Falls, Idaho.

Yep, my Dad sat me there and took a picture on an Anit-Aircraft Gun from some sort of Naval Vessel. It was really cool!

The Memorial with Flag Flying over it.

Here is Mommy, me, Carissa and Elli

Ice cream and brownies! UMMMMMMMMMMM!

Angela, Mommy and Carissa.

Me, Daddy and David! David is the Daddy in Idaho.

We had a really nice time in Idaho and like I said, we made a lot of friends. We look forward to our next trip and visiting some more. Hopefully, they will come to Utah some day and visit us!

A very nice vacation with Mommy and Daddy! (Day 3) We rested!!! Ya!!!

I guess someone was listening, because on the third day we did rest! I need it too! I think mountains are nice to look at, but not sure about the whole climbing them thing.

Daddy woke up and made us omelets for breakfast and we just chilled and played. Then when it warmed up we went to the pool!

Heading for the pool, yes they stopped me!

Me and Daddy in the water! It was warm and felt so very fun to play in!

Splash!

Why would I want to hold on to the side if you will just hold me!

My room is the one behind the tree. Can you see it?

Me and Mommy at the Snow Bird sign. You know I have not seen a single snow bird.

I want to take this rock home, someone help me put it in the jeep.

I am checking the tire pressure to see if it can carry my rock!

This is a badger I think?

I want to pet it Mommy!

That is the last picture we took. After I fought off the badger, we really rested! I needed it too!

The next morning we headed back to home! Home! I love home!

Of course as soon as I got home, Daddy and me were out in the Garden. I picked tomatoes and potatoes! Wow!

Anyone want to guess what I am eating later?

I was so tired after working in the garden, I crashed my truck! Just kidding!

Here I am enjoying my tomatoes! Had them for lunch the next day! Yes, it is the same yellow shirt! Daddy likes that shirt for some reason.

The good news is we have another vacation scheduled for Saturday! We are heading off to Idaho! So check back next week and we will both know if there are any mountains in Idaho!
