What we have been up too? Part 2

I will start this post off on August 6th, which was a significant day for Christopher. We Celebrated his birthday. He of course turned 6 on 14 Aug, but we did his party on the 6th, before school started!!!

Christopher got to enjoy his birthday and someone else cleaned it up.

He got a nerf knock off mini-gun. He loved it.

When you have all your toys taken away, sometimes you have to go old school.

We used our imagination to make a bottle cap city.

Every city needs a wall.

Our car made a few mile stones.

 

It is not easy to get the picture, but I was not going to fast.

Before my trip to Louisiana I made some bread for the trip and other workers.

All this made for a few good breakfast and gifts for our host. We were very lucky, all my team had a roof over our heads thanks to my cousin Aimie and her husband Jacob.

Our ward was asked to send volunteer's to Louisiana to assist flood victims. The ward was asked for 15 and we sent over 40, all in all about 3000 LDS volunteers worked the 27th and 28th of August. It was a great effort and chance to see the church at work.

We removed the flooring and dry wall in a large compound. It was another denomination's church and church complex. It was two days of hard work.

Christopher got a nasty cold and had to have a treatment and he got to use the remote control.

Then he got an X-ray. He is recovered and back to himself, but he got to see military medicine for the first time.

We are keeping him, he seems so gentle through the glass.

 

The latest, is Chimge is TDY in Korea for some reason or another. She left a few days ago and will be back in the next week or so. She is doing some translation stuff and having a nice time touring Seoul.

So now you know what we have been up too and your up to date.

Since the cruise, we have not slowed down.

Once we got off the cruise ship, we had lunch plans, so to fill the space in between  we visited the Kennedy Space Center and then planned another trip to Columbus for Father's Day. We are taking full advantage of Mommy's Leave....

Then we went to Columbus. Collyer and I out for a bite.

Of course we visited the Infantry Museum at Fort Benning.

Before we left town we visited Grandma Doris.

Then we feed some ducks.

Then we finally made it back to Florida.

 

It was a great way to end our cruise and a even better visit with all our family in Columbus. Now we are settling back in the normal....

The Fantasy begins..... well we sailed on the Fantasy!

As a family we did a wonderful 7 night Disney Cruise. It was a lot of fun and we all ate to much. The good news is we all have our sea legs. Until you experience it for yourself you truly can not appreciate cruising. I recommend it and it is Christopher approved.

One of the positives is eating in bed. You can not do this at home.

Like I said or should have said, it was an amazing trip. I look forward to our next cruise, when ever that is and where ever it goes. If you come by I am sure we can share all the pictures.

 

We have gotten behind on posting..... but since 20 May, we have done a few things.

Since Mommy came home, we have done a few things. Mostly relax and wrap up what we need too before the big cruise.

 

Mommy took up puzzles, kind of puzzling, but it is one way to relax.

I joined got some new clothes. No more kids clothes at church.

I finished my first field day at school.

I baked bread and learned how to make Mongolian food.

Daddy and I cleaned the memorial on Eglin AFB, like we always do in preparation for Memorial Day.

I went to see Angry Birds.

Graduated Kindergarten, this is my teach and me.

Mommy and Daddy attend the big Graduation party. It was a real blow out. Cookies and juice, they went all out on this one.

 

All of the above had to be done, so we could get ready for the really big day. Cruise day!!!!! And I just know it is going to be fun!
