Well, I know I am - and I take full advantage of it. Today, Keith made some pasta with meatballs and red sauce - yummy.
For me, I got home, got in bed with the remote and watched some news and then back to back Bones while I played on the computer.
After dinner he did some laundry and I still haven't moved. Now, he is making me a pineapple upside down cake - because he knows I love it.
So, I guess there is no question I am spoiled. It is unusual anywhere and unheard of in Utah - hey but we are happy and I am proud to be spoiled and take full advantage of it. Does that make me a bad wifey? :-)

Grateful . . .
It is a holiday - my take it easy slow day. I am grateful for the occassional three day weekends to unwind and relax.
And it snowed last night / early this morning. Not much but nevertheless snow.
I am very grateful we have a garage so we don't have to unfreeze and unbury our car from under the snow.
I am even more grateful for my husband who got up, made me a breakfast and went out shoveling the snow from our driveway while I stayed in my warm bed watching some silly TV shows that I learn nothing from!

Traffic, what traffic?
This is the traffic on H1 in Hawaii.
I remember the days I used to sit in the middle sea of cars and concrete and wonder when I will make it home or if I would make it to work on time. Long ago memory almost forgotten.
This morning. it took me all of 7 minutes to go through 4 traffic lights and security gate and make it to the parking lot outside my office. I just love the quick commute. I heard many say there is a traffic to get onto base and it is long and three miles on a freeway is driving them crazy kind of stories. They got no clue what they are talking about. Should see the "parking lot" I used to sit in. :-)
Traffic jam is a long ago memory in my mind that is being faded. Just pray that people would drive carefully and cautiously in the snow and ice and not cause traffic jam that is not necessary.

Different kind of Exercise
I have been somewhat disappointed with the dry and cold weather of Utah - since it made it somewhat challenging to exercise. I am not a big fan of gyms, and wasn't too thrilled at running in the cold or not being able to. But, we have discovered different type of exercise we can do and have fun at the same time.
I know, I know it sounds crazy, but it does work you out plenty and you could make it fun.
Today, we had fun with the newly arriced snow. Keith shoveled snow in our driveway and a few neighbors on our street. Then, we went a few blocks down to help shovel friend's driveway and then, went to the church building and shoveled the sidewalks all around.
Now, my shoulders are sore but it was fun and also hard work/exercise at the same time not to mention it was a service project that uplifted us. Well, snow is still coming down and will do so some more over the weekend. So, we got some more exercise time coming. ;)

Snow and much more!
Well, we are finally all moved in and settling down! Only set of tables of the front living room needs to be delivered and we are all done. But, till then, we are still making our new house into a home and enjoying the unusually cold weather of Utah.
Evidently, it doesn't get this cold till January or February - close to negative, I mean. But, it was cold last night and it will be tonight as well - present for us. :-)

Well, we are in our new home - our realtor welcomes us with a fruit basket and sparkling cider - with the glasses to drink it from too. Notice the pineapple!

I am clearing the leaves out on the driveway. Well, I didn't do much - just happened to be in the picture when Keith took it. :-)
And of course, we have a new ward to go too and here is our new bishop getting the Christmas dinner ready.
Then, there is Keith's delicious pineapple upside down cake - I was the first person to go get some - I couldn't wait - I actually wanted some before we left the house, but he wouldn't let me... :-( But, I had a big piece at the Christmas party. Then, I got him make me more for the Squadron Christmas party and it was a hit. I just took the credit for delivering it though.
Here is the house again with a fresh blanket of snow. Keith has been very deligent about clearing it as soon as it snows and laying out that deicer thing.

So, here we are living in Utah - trying to get used to the cold and dry weather. Will post more pics of the house and furnitures we got for us - I am enjoying them too much to sit here to type and post.. :-) JK.

Thanksgiving and More
We had a very nice Thanksgiving with friends - grateful to have friends when we don't have an adequate kitchen to cook ourselves (well, specifically Keith - he makes very yummy Thanksgiving meal) I guess we willhave that for Christmas.
So, here are our friends on Thanksgiving day - thank you for the invite and the delicious feast.
Hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and remembered what you are grateful for in this life. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
On Saturday, we went for some shopping and then enjoyed ourselves counting the lights at the Temple Square. :-) No, we didn't get to count - too many. Wonder if anyone has.
