It has been awhile since I have posted any garden pictures and since I posted on Christopher going like a weed, I figured I would post on the Garden, which has a few weeds, but I do try to keep them under control.
The Strawberries produced really good, they will be great next year. Hope someone eats them.
We have gotten a few blackberries, but more thorns.
Almost a 1/4 cup of blueberries! A work in progress.
Here you can see the pumpkins, we have 7, the peppers are coming in finally and the broccoli to the right.
Carrots and scallions....
Watermelon plants are hurting in the heat. The package said, full sun light. One huge one and about a dozen smaller ones.
Tomatoes are starting to produce. We will have them til winters first frost.
We have eaten a lot of green beans.
The second crop of peas. They are coming in and have a few more months. So hope to have more!
The corn is drying out. Will pick the last in a few days. Gave away some dozen ears and ate twice that. Still have a good 30 ears to eat!
The red potatoes did not turn out to good. They have been eaten and are gone. The red onions, have about 6 left, they did ok. The white potatoes are still good and pick two at a time to make meals as needed.
Over all it has been a good garden. It is cooling off some in Utah, so the rest might survive till fall. The pumpkins will be for Halloween and what not. The rest we will eat til it is all gone. Did much better this year, still need to crack the code on Broccoli. Christopher gets a lot of yard time with me gardening and he has even learn to water. Waters himself as much as the plants, but we can not complain.
Hope we can have a garden where ever we end up next!
