My very first trip to a movie theater

The other day I was watching TV and I saw a commercial for Planes. I have the little crop duster, got him for my birthday. So I thought to myself that would be a good movie to see. So for several days I reminded Daddy I wanted to go see it. And this morning he took me. I had no idea where I was going, but I had heard of movies before. So I figured I should check it out. I am glad I did.

Me with the plane poster! It is my size.

Daddy made me buy the tickets.

They have games, who knew.

More games....

Me in my seat.

After the movie....

One more ride.

Me and Daddy.

We did the train after, that is a tradition whenever we go to Destin Commons.

Yet another picture of the train. I think they should add more cars.

Daddy was waiting with the Camera as we circled.

So you saying that is a dog?

I was thinking a very small horse, but it does have a tongue and a tail.

Anyway my first movie went off with out a hitch. I guess that means like most things I will get to see another one. I did see a few in the previews, but not sure which one to see next.

Ponce De Leon Springs

It is another day in Florida. Daddy woke up and asked if I wanted to go swimming. Of course I said yes and figured we would go to the base pool or Turkey Creek. Daddy had a much better idea, that is why he is the Daddy. He read about Ponce De Leon Springs and has wanted to go there for awhile. So we did. Boy-o-boy I am glad we did. We had so much fun and I got to meet a lot of new people.

Here I am using my new float. I can go out in the deep all by myself.

It is a Daddy float. It floats and takes directions.

The scary part was their are alligators in the spring, but

The cool thing is I got to ride an alligator. I am the "King of the Bayou"!

Here I am in my row boat. Want to be a Pirate Captain when I grow up.... Arrrr!

Then my first mate got in and almost sunk us. Can you believe he would not even row.

I made him walk the plank.

A picture of the swimming area.

Hey look at me, I am in tune with nature.

If you look right down there, that is the bottom. Can you see it?

Another look at the swimming area.

I hired a new crew and I heading out to live the life of a pirate.

The white spot in the middle is one of the spring vents. It is about 10' down.

Like I said we had a great time. The water was cold when you first get in, but after awhile, it is so very nice. The water stays are a constant 68 degrees. When it is 90s outside, that feels so good. So one more place to show you if you ever get off your rumps and come see us!

Another visit to the go cart place another day of great fun!

Yesterday Daddy worked in the yard, the front and back. Most importantly, he cleaned out my dirt box. It is supposed to be a sand box, but has a lot of dirt too. Came with the house, so I can't complain. Anyway, since yesterday was all about watching Daddy sweat in the Florida heat and humidity, today was about fun in the Florida Heat and humidity. Yes, I could see Daddy through the window. I am not crazy, I watch from the comfort of the A/C. Besides, since Mommy is suffering in the heat of (Name withheld) I am sure it made Daddy feel closer to Mommy.

That said.... on with the fun stuff.

We have been to the Go Cart place in Destin before, but this time I came out a winner!
Hurry up guys!
and it just keeps counting...
And more counting....
Look - I scored!
Before the big race...
After the big race!
The wheel that goes around and around...
Another one that goes around and around.
One more...
And yet another one that goes around and around.
Hurry up, we get to be first!
Ready for another race on the big big track.
The completion.... Auntie. She raced Formula One back home.
Me watching the next race.
The race track.... It goes up and then comes down, but still goes around and around.
Yep, the train goes around and around too.

With all that going around and round you would think I was dizzy, but I was having to much fun to get dizzy. It was a fun time and not that far from where we live, so "I'll BE BACK." If your ever in town, this is a great time to visit, with all the tourist gone, we had the whole place to ourselves!

Another visit to the Armament Museum

After seeing all the snakes and alligators, I figured since it was on the way home, we should stop and see the air planes. I have not been there in a couple of months, maybe something has changed.
I know I wanted to come, but I just realized it is hot out here.
Me hiding under and SR22.

That is where I want to be, inside, they have A/C.

Here is Mommy's plane.

Can you see me, I am holding up the bombs.

I know the door is some where.

Where is the front door?

My favorite machine gun.

Well maybe this one is my favorite.

System checks. Maybe this time it will fly.

Lots of things to adjust.

Pull up, pull up.... Nope still broke.

This one seems to work better.

Daddy, is this where the quarter goes?

It was good to get back to the Museum, especially to the flight trainer. I need to log a lot of hours before I get to fly for real.
