The Battle Ship USS Alabama

Since Auntie is here we travelled all the way to Alabama to see the USS Alabama, which is a Battleship that served in the US Navy from 1942 to 1947. It is really cool to tour, well worth seeing. Myself, I have been there some 4 or 5 times.

Below deck. Our camera man was trying to get a action shot.

Here is a action shot, Mommy and Auntie napping while I stand guard.

Here we are seeing if we measure up to the 2500lbs rounds, we do not. Not even close.

The spiral staircase into the magazine well.

The whole crew on the forward deck.

The forward deck from further away!

Waiting at the flight simulator.

On board the USS Drum. It is a Submarine.

Mommy is checking out the Officer quarters. She rates them... me and Auntie are just crew.

We are resting in the galley. Daddy was cooking something for us....

I have no problem standing up in here.

The torpedo room... no that is not a fancy room in a hotel.

On deck with Mobile Bay in the back ground.

Can you see me waving good-bye? Keep looking, let me know if you see me!

It was a fun tour. We got to see a lot and enjoy the 98 degree summer day on the coast of Alabama. Auntie is really enjoying the tours and heat. Stay tuned and see what we do next weekend!
