In training: so I can go visit Dog

Our backyard is a winter wonderland, so in order for me to go visit Dog, I have to treck across the tundra. Daddy is training me, so we can make the journey together. To be honest, I do not like walking in the snow, so Daddy said he would go with me.

I had to climb to the top of this mountian. I hope there are no mountains in the back yard.  It was not easy.

Getting up is easy, but getting down is another story.

Here I am practicing my snow steps.

Is this where you want me to practice?

Practicing is a lot of work.

Wait, I need to ask you a question.

I am studying different approaches to the summit.

Now I am probbing for soft spots. I do not want to fall into a snow cave.

It was a long day of training.... but now I am ready to go see Dog.

Big shoes to fill

Here are some pictures of me, trying to walk in my Mommy's shoes. They are big shoes to fill, but I am trying. Since Mommy wears her dress uniform on Monday, I got to wear her shoes and hat!  I have not had the same training as Mommy so I do not think I have the hat on right.

I can actually walk in Mommy's shoes.

They are a little big, but not by much.

I am just being little silly.

I am all smiles.

Do I look like a rapper?

Daddy said I can not be a rapper.

Well, maybe I can be a First Lieutenant?

BC&R came to see my new house!

Brad, Chelsea and Ruby came to see my new house.  It is not often I get real visitors, so this was a special visit!

Chelsea was immediately drawn to the house. It is so coolm so it is understandable.

Chelsea likes the window and I thought it was fun to look in.

Here is Chelsea checking out the extension.

Here are both Ruby and Chelsea.

Here is Chelsea checking out the inside window between the new and old sections.

I am so glad they like the house. I wanted to make sure I was not the only one who thought it was cool!

Here I am with Ruby!

Now you can see all three of us.....

Here I am chasing Monkey.... he is really fast.

Here we all are.... the big guy in the back is Brad! He is like Bear, too big for my house!

Here is an action shot! Or are the cups just floating.

Daddy took a lot more pictures, but could not post them all!
It was really cool having company! We had pizza and ice cream sandwhiches. We did not post any of those pictures, they were too messy! I can't wait until the next visit!

Just bearing around!!!

Now that I have my own house, I do not see bear as much. He stopped by today to mention he has not seen me around the family room and wanted to make sure I was doing ok. It was really good to see my old friend.

I came down stairs and bear was waiting for me when I got home.

We just sat around and talked about old times.

He noticed I grew up some, but he is still bigger.

He is a lot of fun to lounge on.

More hanging out, I was waiting for company, so I had time.

Bear really is comfortable.

Bear had to take a call so I was checking my messages.

Of course Mommy texted to see how I was doing.

Bear came back to to hang out some more.

and some more.....

and some more. I got a bear hug and then he had to leave!

It was great to see bear again, I told him once I get a bigger room added on to the back he can sleep over and actually get inside!

Just being silly

I know you will find it hard to believe, but sometimes I give my Dad a hard time. Yes, I am a perfect child, do not get me wrong. If you need to confirm this, just ask my Mommy.
My point is, when I know Dad is getting flustered with me, I try to lighten things up and make the ole guy laugh. He seems to chuckle when I try to walk in his shoes or wear his clothes. After all he is a little bit bigger than me.

Here I am wearing Daddy jacket, it is about 100 sizes too big.

Funny thing is I find it fun to wear his clothes and making him smile is lot of fun.

I could actually walk with his jacket on. It was not easy, but I could do it.

Of course, I did fall a few times, which seemed to make Daddy laugh. It is fun, he is up and then he is down. I am down in this picture.

Just wanted to share something cute, because I can! Hope you liked them.

Duck tape, more boxes and Daddy has way too much free time!

I am all smiles, because I just got the additions to my new house. I have company coming over and I am just glad all the work is finished. The house is about 50% larger. I have three full rooms now. I did have to work with my neighbors (my stuffed animals) in order to take up more real estate. I gave them room on my roof!

I am getting ready to begin my walk through.

I am waiting on Daddy, but I am being patient.

This is my doggie entrance or a the crawling entrance.

Here I am leaving the old part and checking out my new space. It is huge!

The doggie door is an entrance and exit. That means you can come in or out of it.

The door is so cool. It actually closes.

Here I am coming out with monkey! It is a doggie door, but monkeys can use it too.

This is my bay window. It lets in lots of light and I can watch the wall.

I am conducting my final inspection. Even if Daddy is my contractor, I still have to verify quality and that he followed my specifications.

More checks.... it seems some of the seams need more work.

I am going to have to check my blue prints. Something does not look right.

Dad, we need to talk!

All in all, it is so hard to find a good contractor. I found several areas that need more duck tape. I have also requested another window and an inside window so I can see from the old side to the new side. I want a functional house. If I am paying for my house, I want it my way.

Of course I can not complain, Daddy did build me a house. It is amazing what a Daddy can do with old boxes and some duck tape. Thanks Dad! I am glad to have him around, even if it seems he has a lot of time on his hands.
