I was looking through "My Pictures" in my computer to find some pictures of Hawaii I could post so my friends who used to live in Hawaii can see and reminisce. In that process, I realized I have many flowers and pictures of flowers my husband sent me from Afghanistan - so I wanted to post them to look at them and to let everyone else see - how romantic my husband is.
All the flowers are growing in Afghanistan; I am glad Keith had time to stop and smell the roses - literally in that war torn land. He has sent them to me over the period of nine months - whenever he sees beautiful flowers, he takes pictures and sends it to me. It is amazing too what grows in that dry and generally rocky and sandy place.
