Christopher has made it home safe and sound and is adjusting to not being woken up by nurses and other kids. Now if we coud just adjust to not being woken up by Christopher!
Chimge and her sister Monica while still at the hospital! Christopher's first visitor!
Mommy and Christopher waiting on him to figure out nursing so we can check out and head home!
Well he said the colors were nice, but he expected something a little less boyish with a better view. However, he did appreciate the effort and he would make do!
He like the swing, but wanted more classical..... than kiddy music!
Well look at that, it is just like the car seat, these two need some training! Gosh, what were they doing all these months?
Wow.... all this space is really mine! I could get used to this...... Much nicer and no plastic!
Wow this one is even bigger, when can I move in?
Why was he not like this at 3am? Any guesses?
Since many of you are wondering how the 1st night went! I will give you the highlights. We both got about 4 hours of sleep, off and on. We traded off with Christopher trying to keep him happy. He was awake most of the night, off and on. Over all it was not too bad. We have all heard the stories and this will not go into the book of worst nights! He did not cry alot on my shift and feed at least three times through the night. Seems like all of his bodily functions are functioning and he is a semi-happy baby. It was his first night after all. With a team approach and some effort, we will work through these early days and get him on some sort of schedule. Now of course this is my take, Chimge will add something later. Just wanted to get the pictures up, so you can see him. We got the hospital pictures done, so we will try to get out birth announcements and pictures as we can. If you look here every few days, you will be able to track progress and see the new guy! Again thanks for all your prayers and best wishes.....

Just hang in and it will get better. Let him sleep, don't pinch him to see if he is still breathing. Chimeg needs her rest, so sleep when he sleeps, and take good care of the 3 of you. Enjoy the beginning. The first 5 years are the hardest. Love Ya, Aunt Pip
P.S. He is a little doll.
